Default Fuel Problems Again: Confused

Ok here is the deal. In my 88 CRX I have a 1.5L DX piece of crap motor. Goes 0 - 60 in 60. The only good thing about it was that it was great on gas, now its not even that. Im getting such bad fuel economy that I just cant explain. I mean Im going through like $10 in gas a day when $10 used to be able to last me like 3 days at least if not more.

I already replaced my fuel filter and my main relay and still bad gas mileage. I checked and there is no fuel that I can see leaking out the bottom of the car anywhere. The exhaust is not black or anything so I dont think that it would be the injectors. Whats left? The catylitic converter?

Anyone with any suggestions would be great. Im spending way too much in fuel just to get to work and back its insane.

Air filter? Run cleaner through the gas tank.

I dont think that it is my filter. I replaced it like 15,000km ago. It shouldnt crap out that quick. I should have double the miles left on it.

You could have a clogged fuel filter, bad ECU, bad O2 sensor, Bad plugs, Low tire pressure (Yes it does cause worse MPG), Bad wires, Bad cap and rotor.

Check all those and I'm sure you will find your problem.

Ok I just replaced my fuel filter. It was rusted so bad that the fuel inside of it was bright orange. This was the problem right? Nope not that. Still getting **** economy. The funny thing is that I removed my plugs to take a peek and they were white. Which means Im running lean. WTF? The only thing left to replace are my fuel lines, gas tank and cat. Which is bloddy insane. So Im going to just hammer out my cat hollow untill I have to do emmisions again and hopefully that will solve the problem. If not then Im going to get a new tank and if not that then new lines. Still if not then Im just going to pull the motor, drop in something like a ZC for 1st gen B Series and say screw it.

Maybe your gas lines are leaking..My old hatch had that problem ,,it was leaking in the rear by the tank,,and its common in areas with salt all over the roads..Or yeah it could be the catylist converter..May be clogged ,Does it smell like rotten eggs at all?..Also are you sure that maybe your brakes arent sticking.? Sometimes in cold weather when you use the e-brake it sticks..Happens on my car sometimes,,so I just leave it in gear..Sorry for the rambling,,
