get speakers clear
I am about to get 2 12 diamond audio d3's with a old school kicker zr600 and want to know how i can get my interior speakers clearer without buying components. I know the subs are going to drain out the interior speakers so how can i get it so i can hear the boom and what the artist is saying without it being distorted.
The low-pass and high-pass have to be "balanced" and a good rule of thumb is 3 times the rms wattage for the subs as the rest of the system, EG: if you have a total of 100W rms 4x25W or 2x50W , [interior speakers] going to the high-pass you should have about 300W rms for the low-pass, [sub/s].
The ZR600 is a 1x600W rms into 4 ohms, so whatever subs you get need to be wired to a 4 ohm load.
Using the 3x as much power rule you should have a total of 200W rms for the "interior speakers", 2x100W or 4x50W and of coarse speakers that will handle the power.
