How much does a Del Sol type s weight? Im trying to figured out what shell to start off building and got offered a del sol type s. even though alot of people dont like them i classify them as a civic with a removeable top. thanks

2612 lbs <<< From Honda. I know its heavy but who cares. The car makes of for the wight just by being fun to drive.

 

and the 99-00' si have b16 right?

 

theoretically:

del sol vtec power to weight ratio= 15.56
civic si power to weight ratio = 16.32
del sol s w/ b16 swap= 14.34

 

why does everyone call them del slow, and rag on them like they are if si's weigh more with basically the same engine/trany? i own a slo and think it is just as quick as an si.
