i was wondering if a bad distributor would cause my car to shut off around when the car is warmed up. i replaced the cap and rotor so yea and i was wondering if theres a way to test and see if the distributor is bad?

how would u know if the ecu is throwing codes? im such a newbie!! lol sorry if i sound stupid
