Default MPFI Swap is done. Blown Motor!

Well i finished my mpfi swap and noe i have a fist sized hole in the block at cylinder #1. I didnt even get the motor running just cranked it over and she blew. Snapped the rod in half and blew a hole in the block. I am still trying to go over everything and track down my mistake. I will tell yo what i find out.

Only had 130,000 miles. I found out what i did wrong. I missied the wire for the starter. Well i had tried to start the car but got nothing. I then hooked up the starter and cranked it over and then it blew on the second crank. Well i guess that while i was trying to start the car without the starter the injectors were still pumping fuel and when i hooked up the starter it combusted all the excess fuel in the cylinder and that acted like a bomb and blew it up. No i am looking at dropping a d16a6, z6 or b16a if i can find the cash. It all depends on the wallet and the plastic money.

Wow thanks for the advise TorteX. But it does have something to do with the swap when you swap out the whole harness like i did. Iceycrx make me an offer or i will try to give you a figure but right now i am trying to figure out other things cause this is such a shitty time for this to happen but maybe things will look up for me after i get my taxes back.
