Default questions about stock mufflers

i have (i think) its like a 2 1/4 catback exhaust and its so loud and raspy and annoying

i would like to replace the muffler with something stock.

what would be the best stock muffler to mount back up under there.

ive heard of people using like crv mufflers or '02 SI mufflers

i want to know if there is a difference between them, i still would like the most flow as possible and the best sound.

all help is appreciated thanks

I see alot of people using itr/ctr stock mufflers. I had a ls-vtec 4-1 header, test pipe, 2.25" piping to a 92-95 civic si muffler and it felt good and was quiet

im looking for something that is easily obtainable
such as something from a junkyard.

yeah i want to keep mine quiet, i hate my exhaust and how obnoxious it is

thanks for the help

My friend used a Trail Blazer muffler lol. You can't hear it at all at idle/cruising, but once you rip it, sounds like a pack of bees are about to attack
