Default Help my mom out, squeaking from front end while turning, driving, etc. 94 accord

I really hope someone can help narrow this down, or give some tips.

My mom has a 1994 Honda Accord, 4 dr.

It has been squeeking from the front end, while turning, driving, pushing down on the front of the car, etc. It's gotten steadily worse, and is now doing it constantly. Needless to say it's driving her nuts, everyone looks at the car as she drives by. It has 200,000 miles and she won't be keeping it too much longer, but she doesn't have the money for something newer right now, nor can she afford to start replacing parts randomly.

She did ask her mechanic who said there wasn't anything wrong with it and that he couldn't fix it without replacing lots of parts on the front end.

When it first started my uncle sprayed with WD40 the rubber on some of the supports on both front wheels, this stopped it for a little while, but it's back doing it and spraying it won't help.

Does anyone have any experience with this and and tips on how we could narrow it down so we don't have to spend a fortune tracking down the problem.

Old tires squak pretty bad in turns. Check to see if they're bald or you can go to some tire shop and they'll tell you for free.

yeah her front tires are gettin bad, she's replacing them this week, but i don't think it's that. I just jacked it up and sprayed a bit of lithium grease on some of the rubber connectors? or bushings? (I'm a web designer not a mechanic) but it still does it even when just pushing down on the fender of the car. I have the honda repair manual and I'm gonna on the weekend take the wheel off so I can see better, I guess I'm missing one or maybe it just needs to be taken apart and greased?

It sounds like the CV joint to me, which is not a very cheap replacement.

It's possible you've got dry Ball Joints.
The WD40 trick took care of both possible dry control arm bushings, or a lower spring seat.
The Ball joint issue is quite common on high(er) milage 5th Gens, and actually gets worst the colder the weather (the lube grease turns waxy)

I'd say it is the Balljoints. When the grease dries up in them as they age they will slowly start squeeking every once in awhile. But they get steadily worse and do it constantly and makes a god awful door hinge in a horror movie sound eveytime you turn the wheel.(and like you said up top when push down on the car.

It's dangerous to keep driving it like that. When I was younger and didn't know as much about cars one broke on my girlfriend in a walmart parking lot and the front of the car hit the parking lot with the wheel pushed up into the wheelwell.I'm just glad she wasn't doing 65 when it happened.

I have a 92 Honda Accord lx

Squeaking is loud when turning left or right while driving and nothing else, and the sound is only coming from the left front side. Just had a new control arm and lower ball joint done at a shop 3 months ago. I also have a slight pull to the left since the repair. A friend sprayed wd40 on the cambers only, which stopped the squeaking for a day and it came back. My question is why would the cambers be squeaking? Also my friend said it looks like there are no washers, but in a few youtube vids and etc, no one ever minchins that you need them. I did bring it back to the shop to have them double check their work but they refuse to do so and say "its an old car, their ganna squeak", which is a load of sh*t. It was fine before he put his hand on my car >=(
I just want the squeak gone, please help. Thanks.
