hey guys (and girls)
I've got some really bad rattling coming from my cat conv heat shield on my 94 LS, so i've decided to get a high flow cat because i was gonna do it eventually. anywho, i havent done any mods to my exhuast system, but my plans were pretty set on the dc sports 4-2-1 cc header and apexi ws exhuast, but i dont know too much about high flow cats... so is there one company thats better than another, or one which would fit the dc and apexi better than another? my car is a daily driver, and i've done just a couple autocrosses, but thats something i really wanna get into while maintaining the whole daily driver aspect on my car. i only really know of random tech and carsound high flow cats, but what else is available which would work well with my plans? please let me know, thanks!

The exhaust wouldn't really matter, just get one from a well-known company like Tanabe, HKS, Apex-i, GReddy, 5Zigen(I love 5Zigen Fireball). But with light mods, make sure the exhaust piping is 2.25 inches.
I believe that Jackson Racing and Comptech both make bolt-on replacement high-flow cats as well. I'm not sure if the carsound cat is a bolt on ore requires welding to attach it. there isn't much info on their site about bolt-on models. there should be a thread from a couple days back you might check out on this subject as well. HTH
ipsracing.com will take a carsound cat and weld flanges and make it the proper length for you. they do good work and are relatively cheap (in the 160-180 dollar range). give em a try.
