the car: 1993 Honda Civic CX hatch=1 wire O2 sensor
the engine: d16z6=4 wire O2 sensor
So: I need to add some wires to hook the O2 sensor up and get rid of my damned check engine light.
The question: I already have the write up on this from the FAQ, but when I went to my ECU to see were the new wires need to plugged in, there are already wires there. I thought they would be empty, but nope, they have wires. Are they there, just not being used? What do I need to do?

 

bump because I have wires hanging out everywhere and I have to go to work in an hour and half

 

WHT - WHT/RED wire goes to D14 which is O2 Sensor Input
BLK - ORG/BLK wire goes to A6, which is Heater Control
GRN - GRN/WHT wire goes to D22 which is Sensor Ground
BLK - YEL/BLK wire goes to A25 which is Sensor voltage (you can also splice into the power junction harness at the driver side shock tower harness)

The wires at that associated pinouts with your ECU must go with those pinouts. Regardless if there is a wire there or empty. If there is a wire at those pinouts, then all you have to do is go to that direct wire -- it's a lot easier.
