Well, it happened I got broken into last night. Stupid thing is it's my beater, a 95 dx 4dr, trunk leak, moldy smelling, exhaust leaking, chipping paint, just fix my valve cover and dizzy leak, civic. How pathetic is that, They left my pass. door a little open, turned off my dome light, popped the trunk and I assumed looked for subs and a amp . I'm assuming since I had my headunit WITH NO FACEPLATE there they assumed I had a "tight" system. I only have 2 front speakers . I'm assuming they are kids to go after my steelie rimmed POS beater (which I just use for school and work) pathetic I tell you. They didn't even steal anything. (not that there is anything to steal except for some old dasani bottles)

BTW: I was looking to getting a LS teg 98+ as a new daily driver and some mods (i/e) lowered, Since my DSM is down. But I don't know anymore, I usually don't upgrade headunits and sound, don't really care about that stuff. But I'm kinda worried they going to break into it for ***** and giggles
any advice is to getting the LS Teggy?

I would still go for it if you really want it. Just get some type of security, chances are if they are kids, they wont attempt anything with an alarm.

 

yea, if I get LS I would do usual security measures (no high end alarm) but reg. alarm with *other stuff*. But I'll be damned if I put a alarm on this beater

Maybe I'll get a rsx-s, who knows
