Default Ceased Spark Plugs

I have an issue ... one of my spark plugs is ceased. My friend suggests I get a new head, but that could be expensive. I've thought of using a torque wrench and tapping it lightly with a hammer or something, but I am afraid of stripping the threads.

Any suggestions for a '99 Honda Civic EX?

Did it like die? Oh, do you mean SEIZED? Well there is something called a tap and die set for extracting **** if you snap it. but constant torque snaps bolts. when you put in new ones, use anti-seize. this aint the forum for this, check the tech forum, they know bolts and ****, and i think can help you with metal work like this. all may not be lost. BTW, a torque wrench only puts **** in, you need a socket to get it out.

Could always put the other plugs back in and take it somewhere. That way when they strip out the threads they ahve to fix it..haha

I think they heli-arc the threads if they are stripped. Not 100% sure on that

I would just let a pro change your plugs for you. They have tricks and the correct tools. Can't cost much and will save you a possible massive headache
