Hard Starts...

Hard Starts...
Is the DA known for having bad starts? It starts up after ignition then it dies after 2 or 3 secs. I have to give it some gas sometimes. And when it dies, I have to wait atleast 5mins to try and start it again. I have a new fuel pump and the engine is in real good condition. what's wrong w/ my car?
