Clutch: What do i get?
Ive searched but it seems to come up with a million different topics, i just want to get to the point...
Anyways im in need of a new clutch for my d16y8(99 EX Civic), clutch is slipping and throwout bearing noise is louder than the motor itself. my question is what kinda clutch should i get that is best for daily driving and would grab better than stock. should i do a flywheel while im at it too, if so what kind? will the new clutch come with everything to make that obnoxious throwout bearing noise go away? I could do suspension work, change my fluids, and stuff to a body of a car but as soon as i deal with engine stuff im lost. I have absolutly no engine mods other than a Buddy Club Spec II exhaust(planning to do a B swap in the future, but just need to make this D swap last til then). thanks for the help in advance

just replace it with a stock clutch until you get your b series motor. It'll just come off once you swap in the motor and you'll get rid of it or it'll collect dust.

I agree, especially if you will be getting a B swap soon, no need to throw money into something that wont matter on the D.

Get whatevers cheap and close to stock. I got an Exedy organic online for dirt cheap. I don't know how much a Honda OEM clutch is, but you may be better off with a "stock" replacement clutch from someone else.
