mid to high 8's for 0-60 and somewhere in the 17's for the 1/4 mile The car weighs in at 3200lbs and 166HP I4 with an auto or manual will yeild the same results as the auto is aproximately 58lbs heavier than the manual and only requires 1 shift to get to 60.
Most likely the car is governed to approximately 120mph in I4 form just like the previous versions.

I am not going to dispute the numbers presented by YeuEmMaiMai, but I have 'compared' it with my own car, and I know for a fact that runs much quicker than an 8 second 0-60, and a 17 second 1/4 mile. Also, the manual will always be quicker than the auto unless there is a bad driver behind the wheel. And your statement that the auto is 58lbs heavier only reinforces that fact. I don't know actual numbers, so I cannot say that YeuEmMaiMai is wrong. I just know a stock 7th gen I4 5-speed is not much slower than my own '99 5-speed. Again, I don't know the top speed of the 7th gens, but I know 6th gen 5-speed I4's are governed at 140, and the 7th gen V6 6-speed does not appear to governed at all to my knowledge.

No, it is not, apparently, at least for the 2006 cars made in 11/05.
The motor runs out of steam by itself, because sixth gear is rather tall.
However, the real top speed of a 2006 6-6 is much, much higher than most of you would suppose.

I had some chick in a 7th gen I4 try to jump me at a light and I had no problem leaving her behind me (she was trying to cut me on a right lane ending from a stop light. She was getting on it all the way......... She kept inching forward at the light and I just waited until the light turned green and stomped on the gas...
The 6th gen LX-V6 is a sub 7.5 sec 0-60 car btw

Proven fact in a 3 gear race, a I/E only TSX and I are dead equal with no passengers in both cars. I have I/E lowered(shouldnt make a difference) good tires/wheels (again shouldn't make a huge difference) and the TSX is rated .6 seconds quicker 0-60 and I THINK about 1 second quicker in the 1/4.
We did it twice to make sure it wasn't a fluke.
Judging by comptech and AEM dyno's, he should be putting out 215bhp, and is 200 lbs heavier, so take what you wish from that.
One question, why does the top speed matter? Is it really that safe to take a bone stock car 120+?

he asked for the stats on a 06 I4 car not a modded car. I know for a fact that a car that is the same weight as my car (3200) with 36 less Hp is not going to win the sprint to 60 or the quarter mile or top speed.
Wait till the summer time ahha then it won't even be fair because if all goes well I will be dropping in a 3.5L and getting about 60-80hp (depends if I change the cams or not). That will put me into the low 6's to 60 and most likely low 14's in the 1/4 mile.
I have not hit top speed in this car but my friends 99 coupe speedo has seen the other side of 140 and with speedo off about 4-6mph it would put it at least 135....

I checked a few of them out with other websites. They seem to be pretty close. Some are a tenth or two different. I would also venture to say that two cars of the exact same model could also be a tenth or two different. I haven't spent a lot of time researching the subject though.
Yeah but 06 4cyl and my car are close to the same thing.
And my car really isn't that modded, probably 15 hp over stock if I'm lucky. I'm just giving examples.
But then again, are you going to use this car as a track car? What are your plans for it, if there is any?

actually I am going to use it as my daily driver like I do now.....
3.5L = good increase in torque and at leat a 1 sec drop in the 0-60 times most likely will be able to get into the high 5's

I am guessing the accord v6 6speed top speed would be in the 155-160 range. My old 99 accord v6 with an auto hit 150 indicated on the speedo (probably only 140-145 realworld) on a 2% decline hill. the other way it hit 130 so I would think with the manual and the lower tranny losses plus the extra 50hp (by the old hp ratings since the v6 was supposed to jump to 250 with the old ratings) would get it atleast 10-15mph faster. The new accords also look like they have less aero drag but that might just be a deception of my eyes.

Sorry Yeu, I was indicating the OP.
I'm interested, are you dropping in a TL engine? Or something different? What kind of custom work is that going to require?

right now it looks something like this
03 MDX block and internals (no heads)
Accord heads and intake and the rest of the bolt on stuff
CL-S cams
stock fuel management
I really want to keep it as simple as possible and spend my money as wisely as possible.

why don't you slap on a k20a2(RSX-S) or k24a2(TSX, have to worry about DBW) head and get a larger power gain because of a better aspirating engine. I know there have been a few people who have done that on k20a.org. It's going to add up a lot more than you think, and as a lot of people say, spend the extra buck the first time. I had first estimated that the auto-manual swap on my car was going to be 1500, now its pushing 2grand.
That's what I'm doing (minus the MDX block for my stock accord block) in the future, and I get a nice power gain.
