How low should I drop my car so that it doesn't look like a wedge of cheese when I put my 17"s back on? i have gc/tokiko

If you are going for the "lowered" look, and your'e considering 17's, if you don't already own them, you probably have to go at least 2.25. I know everyone says that going lower than 1.75 ruins suspension geometry, etc., but I just can't stand personally driving my car around with a 1.5 inch drop. I just think it looks bad, kinda like a 16yr. old kid that is afraid to lower his car because his parents would get mad. The cheese you are referrning to can easily be solved with a good set of coilovers. Just make sure to check what the lowering range is before you buy. I think most are anywhere between 1.5 and 3.sumthin'.
