Throw out bearing?

Throw out bearing?
So my throw out bearing is making some noise. Probably dead or not greased up enough. Would it cause any problems to the transmission at all? Or is the only problem the annoying sound. It happens at low speed under 30mph when the clutch pedal isn't pressed.
