Default Anyone have AEM's Big brake kit w/ stock rims?

I have a 97' base model prelude and want to upgrade to aem's o.e caliper big rotor brake kit, part #29-519 for the front and # 29-625 for the rear. The problem is I don't have the money to up grade my stock rims but want the look of the big brake kit. Has anyone ever had experience, or know someone who has had experience with this product on stock rims? Also, any experience with this product, negitive or positive would be great. Thanks

your a fool.. the aem big brake kit generates a huge difference that you can feel in the braking capabilities of your car.... I should know, I had them on my GSR, I'd definetly recommend them to anyone looking to add increased braking power to their vehicle. As for rims, they should fit on 16's, but it'd be tight. AEM recommends that 17's be used. I don't know what the base model comes with, but my SH has 16's, and I think they would fit.

Don't worry, your right, and I really don't want to go into the arguement again as to why, you guys can be as ignorant as you want and believe the hoopla and advertising, but what it comes down to is good fluid, solid rotors, and high performance pads, and NO, AEM pads are NOT high performance..

If its not Hawk, Carbotech, Porterfield, or Axxis ultamites, then its not much...
