Default Surging Idle, no CELS..please help

Ok,
Ive had a surging idle since i got the car. Tried replacing the iacv, no use. I checked my FITV, and i believe its bad. I took my intake off and put my finger over the hole once it was warmed up, and it didnt stop the surging. There WAS suction once it was warmed up. If my fitv was bad, would plugging the hole stop my surging? Could this be bad and plugging the hole not stop the surging? Im kind of lost at this point as to what it can be. Please help........

Mike

Did you plug the right hole? If so, then it is probably not a bad FITV. It is probably a vacuum leak somewhere.

flush your cooling system completely, then fill again. leave radiator cap open and let car idle. all the air bubbles should come up to the top.

Also theres two holes in the inside of the TB. the top leads to the EAVC (or IACV idle air control valve) and the bottom to the FITV make sure you plug up the bottom. and make sure the engine is at opperating temp. the fan should kick in once. if there IS suction from the bottom hole with warm engine the valve is bad.
