welp, making a downpipe for a customer at work, and the turbo discharge is only 4 inches away from the AC compressor, so this is my first attempt at making one. It is only tacked up incase it had to be altered....

Not bad. I wouldve made more cuts to round it out more and get better flow...but that shouldnt be too bad. Looks like you did a good job on fit up though...theres a few places that could be tightened up. But im a perfectionist and im **** about **** like that

BTW-I like to put alot of filler in there and grind the inside as i go. If you put a little extra filler in there you wont compormise the integrity of the weld by grinding the inside.

i understand. Yea this is my first one ever, i know fitup is the most key part. Filler will be used, jus fuse welded it to tack it up incase i have to make a change.

i am not a expert like some on here, but I am getting there. Like I said, this is my first attempt, I got started on it super late in the working day. But thanks!

yea that one pic shows the flaw on fitment, but at the top of that fitment, its fine, guess the tube wasnt quite true

EDIT: this also was made using a typical Chop Saw 14.5 inch and no band saw.
