Hytech exhaust owners, need help on separating b-pipe from muffler
I purchased a Hytech headerback from a guy on here. Just waiting for it to be shipped, but the seller can't seem to to separate the b-pipe from the muffler. He's going to try to ship it out as one whole exhaust. But I'm afraid it might cost too much and be more susceptible to damage (I don't trust shipping companies), so I'm just asking you guys if you've ever ran into this problem and what you guys have or would do to solve this problem. I will pass along the advice.
If it costs too much or he can't separate the pipes, I was just going to drive and pick it up. I'm in Sacramento and he's in San Diego. A good 8 hrs. I feel like going on a road trip anyway.
Thanks.

My Hytech muffler was was fairly easy to seperate from the B-pipe as I did it several times while adjusting it to fit my car. It's a simple slipjoint that is secured with a 12 mm bolt. Just undo that bolt and wiggle/twist the muffer until you seperate it from the B-pipe. Shouldn't really be a hard thing to do.
I haven't had to take mine off yet, but when installing it slid in and out fairly easily. Just takes a little fenagling. (serioulsy how do you spell that word?)

That may work, but theres also another pipe inside it. 3 in all.
