Default Exaust-Resonator with strait pipe?

I had the cat cut out for 75$ now it sounds like crap. When i let of the gas it pop's someone told me it's backpressure. I need to know if adding a glasspack or resonator will fix the horrible sound. 75 for a strait pipe was a rip off and im probably going to loose even more money on this. I need some serious opinions from more than just one person, I honestly don't know what to do. Because of my debit card # getting stolen i only have 50$ but i should have 300 shortly. So what are my options what can i do for a deep steady tone. I've seen a lot of people post about this but no real answers just people posting pointless reply's. Will adding a high flow cat help the sound, or running a resonator. It's so bad im getting made fun of someone help . . .

you would of been better off with the stock/high flow cat and not getting a straight pipe. getting a resonator would help but you would probably still get that buzz.
i used to have a test pipe with no resonator to my greddy muffler. it sounded good. but when i put that n1 style muffler on it sounded like crap. i put a glass pack resonator on and it still had that nasty buzz. getting a high flow cat solved my problem.
