Change Tranny Fluid, now grinds at times...
97 Accord EX 5speed Manual.
It has 119K on the clock and I just did ALL the other tuneup services. I went and changed the tranny fluid with Honda factory stuff and now every 3 out of 10 1st to 2nd gear changes, I get a slight hesitation before it'll shift into gear. I don't want to say grind, but it's not really that, just a 1/2 second studder before it'll let me put it into 2nd gear. I checked the fluid level and it's full, and I did the drain/refill on a lift to the car was level.
I've alway heard Honda's use plan 5w30 weight motor oil in the tranny. I thought by using factory stuff, I wouldn't have this kinda problem. Anyone use REDLINE in these transmissions with good results?
I wish I would have left it alone, it was perfect before the drain/refill!

Forget it, I put in GM Scycomesh from PENNZOIL and it's fixed. Cost me 12 bucks and the tranny feels better then it ever has.
