Default type R brake calipers

is it a 4 pot or 2 pot?? tried searchin but got no where, i'm new to this and trying to upgrade my current stock braking system. thanks

Factory ITR DC2 Calipers are 1 piston.

i would of never thought it was that, thanks. how would this braking system be better than my stock 99ex, should i just look at doin a rear disc brake conversion??

A lot of things influence your braking system.
The size of the MC, the size of the caliper piston, the size of the pads, the size of the rotors, the rotor thickness, rotor material, heat, pad material.....you get the picture.
And what application is this for?
Daily driving, or track use?
If its daily driving I would say try different/better pads before anything else.
