Default tacky cars at the track

not to offend anyone if they are on this board if it was there car , but did anyone at VIR full happen to catch the red vette in group 3............not only did the guy have 427 stickers/tags all over his car (plus it was his school group number )....that car actually had the ole lambo.. scissor/vertically opening doors (sorry i don't know the "cool" term for that ................

i couldn't control myself when first session on sat, he went off twice........

oh yea, lets not forget the paint flames decorating the hood and fenders.......i so want to get out there in group 3 in my POS sentra, pass him and honk as I went by (except of course the car has no horn)

ps/ i'm pretty sure he had hoosiers on it too c'ause he had to be fast

at least he brought it to the track instead of letting it sit in his garage or at a Vette show....

at least he didn't bother his miata driving neighbor and have a revving contest with himself in the driveway, like a "typical" vette owner

the 427 was written in the ever popular Chiller font too... lol

that said, the car had some SERIOUS power and was an impressive sight to see when it sucked the paint off my Civic a few times down the backstraight. I think it would even take Chuck Norris down the backstraight, it's that fast.

Did you check your valve cover to make sure it's still okay?!?!?

Yes I saw him. Several times I was rolling in either the Teal CRX or the White/Primer hood/POS/ HF CRX. It was not for my taste though. He thought it was cool. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by WRXRacer111 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">when it sucked the paint off my Civic a few times down the backstraight. That is why we were rocking the HF can't hurt that beast.

Again thanks Kaan.

The only thing more tacky than that 'vette on track would be a saturn on a racetrack.......

That vette doesn't look too horrible... Well, except for the wing. The body kit isn't great, but it's somewhat low profile at least.

:Sigh:

Unfortunately I think I was in possibly the tackiest car on track. That is why I now present DrDisco69's STOCK HF. If you will notice such sublte items as the at the "H" on the side mirrors, the hood, the ribbon on the back "supporting lap dancers", piec of plastic hanging in the front of the car, the bumper lights that are 88-89 that are to long to fit in 90-91 bumpers so lets rivet them in, and lets not forget the seat that have no foam in them and literally the hog rings were showing where they jab you in the back constantly. Did I mention top speed of 70 down the back straight in 2nd (at rev limiter) or 3rd literally not changing speeds no matter whether in 2nd or 3rd it was just 70!

Oh BS, you were out there having fun, right? End of story. I get so tired of people saying this or that about cars at HPDEs... I have a BLAST every time I go to one, I look forward to them for months. WTF does this have to do with what you're driving.

Nothing. Just drive and have a good time.

Geez!
