Default When buying used R-compounds....

...is there any way to tell how much life is left in terms of heat cycles? You can see the tread in pictures, but that doesn't always reflect whether they're heat-cycled out or not. And of course you can go by how many runs the seller SAYS are on them, but that's only as good as his word.

I don't think there is any sure-fire way to tell. You might be able to test durometer if you can see the tires up close.

I just expect that most used tires will be heat-cycled out - otherwise the seller wouldn't be selling them.

yup. expect them to be pritty much dead. i bought some used hankooks off ebay and i expect them to be dead. but so are the azenis i have. so at least the dead Rs wil be fun
