93 Del sol rear wheel bearings

So I'm changing my rear wheel bearings and ran into this bronze looking plate in the center. How do I go about getting that off?

A flat head screwdriver and a hammer always worked for me.

That's what I was thinking. I took the tire iron and my screwdriver but it doesnt appear to be working well. I may end up having to dig out a hammer. Thanks

I use a chissel with a sharp tip to get a nice gap for the screwdriver or other pry tool to get in there. Its an easy repair really. Ive done it before
