Better Base RSX Suspension?
I got a 04 base rsx auto and the ride isnt exactly all that smooth, so i was wonder what kinda shocks or springs or coilovers would make my ride a lot smoother, some kind of suspension that a luxury car would have, a quiet nice clean smooth ride?

Ummm....
Why did you buy a "sporty" coupe or ANY brand if you wanted a soft ride? Korean cars, like Hyundai and Kia are always being referred to by the magazines as being soft compared to Japanese, European, or American counterparts. Maybe you should go test drive one. Seriously.
I have more bad news, the spring rates on the RSX's aren't all that stiff to begin with... Most carss are undersprung in the interest of ride quality. Most suspensions are tuned stiffly enough to prevent bottoming out and to give the illusion of total control, however, a question like yours tells me you've never driven a true sports car (let alone a race car).

He wants smoother. Besides... Most aftermarket shocks and OEM springs will result in an even firmer ride because they are usually valved to accomodate stiffer aftermarket springs.
The original poster only option may be to get a set of Monroe GasMatics or KYB GR-2's or something like that.

get a camry.
get a camry.
I recommend you trade in your car for a Lincoln.
Try an early 90's Town Car. I drove one of those once; you can't even feel the road. They just float along. There's also no steering feel whatsoever; you can just spin the wheel around without feeling any feedback from the tires, like in those older arcade games before they came up with force-feedback.
Seriously, you're in the totally wrong kind of car. A big huge Lincoln is the kind of car you need.

Are there any adjustable shocks that can be made softer than stock?
I'd doubt it, because people usually buy aftermarket shocks for a sportier, firmer ride, but maybe there's an exception or two...

Not to my knowledge, I know for a fact AGX's setting #1 is stock and #2-#4 are stiffer... but I have no experience with Koni's so that might be something to see (but again I doubt it).
