GSR Throttle Body won't swap to my D16Y8!
My D16Y8 has a sensor on the bottom similar to those on the RSX throttle bodys... I attemped to install it using, just the MAP and TPS with the 3rd one disconnected, and it won't idle properly, it sounds like the engine is messed up and misfiring... Is there a way to get around this sensor or not?
Auto Y8's use a 3-wire IACV which was mounted on the throttle body. GS-R's do not. Auto ECU's will never control a 2-wire IACV and vice-versa.

I did searching... all I found was H- series, B series and D series are swappable... nothing ever said only manual or doesn't apply to autos...
damn this sucks, I'm stuck selling a GSR Throttle Body now. I guess my only real option to a throttle body upgrade is getting my stocker bored out to 60mm.

Of course you can because at that point you would have replaced the ECU, modified the wiring to accomadate a 2-wire IACV, and of course installed the 2-wire IACV itself....all of which he doesn't want/can't do.
