I'm not sure what specific help you're going to get, but if it helps any please know that the Honda HFP factory wheels in 17x7 are +55.
If your car is at stock height, you could go out quite a bit. If you've lowered it you will have to be more careful.

Wow. You're lucky. All the standard (non HFP) 2006 6-6 wheels are 17x6.5 +55.

Whoops! My mistake, they do have a +55 offset. But the 05 6 speeds come w/ a 17"x7" +55. I can take a pic of my wheel if you like.

If you have time to do that, it would be great.
Although it's neat that the 2006 6-6 come with these unique 17x6.5" wheels, I am sure that there are many of us who'd want the extra 1/2" in order to fit 235-45-17 tyres at some point.
As it is, the only clear path for us is to move to the 18x8 A-Spec wheels, which is a bit of over kill, I think.

These are the unique 17x6.5 +55 wheels that are supplied on the 6-6 cars, both sedan and coupe.

Sure thing, I'll get a pic on my camera phone @ break. Here's a decent quality pic of the wheels themselves.

EDIT: Ooops! I forgot I resized the pic for a sig. Sorry about that.
