harness
The thing is for a real racing belt to work correctly you need a few things.
1) A place to mount the straps @ the correct angle (SCCA rules mandate between two given angles). This usually requires a harness bar (one is made by Sparco), or having a welded in cage or welded in harness bar. This is NOT something to bolt them to the floor behind the seat or latched onto a rear seat loop
With a stock seat (from what I have heard) there may be an issue with 'pinching' between the seat-your shoulders/neck-strap... but a sweater was said to make all the difference.
The stock seatbelt will work WAY better than a improperly installed seat with a racing harness. Hope this helped.

First of all, it is 4 points+ harnesses that are dangerous under certain circumstances. The stock belts are 3 point already.
The reason for the danger is in the event of a rollover in a car without a rollcage, you will not be able to move to the side because there is a belt on each side of your body. The result is your neck holding the car up.

I think that has to do with the fact that its only secured at 3 points rather than 4 or 5. if your just getting it for daily driving, itll probibly be fine. thats more what it was developed for. most real race cars will have a 4 or 5 point.
