Default help

i have 92 honda accord auto i was wondering why does the car not want to go in the right gear it's like the car hesitates to shift so it will feel like its forcing it self to shift. its like I'm going 60mph and the rpm is at 3 and stays there. can you please tell me whats wrong with the car!?

Any 'D4' or 'S' lite codes? The trans pressure cable from the throttle body might need adjusted. It should hve a little slack; but just as the throttle opens and the RPM rises, the pressure lever on the trans should start to move.
