Has anyone built a go-cart with the old engine
i always thought of doing something like that, didi you see that vid of that kart with a 1100cc 4 cylinder bike engine on it?
That would be a cool idea to make a old junked out d series into a kart. I might have to do that thanks for the idea

couple of friends of mine are welding together a dune buggy for use with the old d16z6. just a thought. And for those doubters,as there will always be doubters, it's almost finished. Waiting on the wheels and working out a few other fitment issues.
Heck, if you guys are throwing out all your D-series engines after your B-series swaps, I'll take em and put em in my CRX, er, I mean go kart. Anything would be better than my non-running stock D15B2.

Jesse James and his monster garage crew built a go kart using an ls engine and they turbo charged it I think. I think it was built by midgets for midgets. It was pretty cool.

Due to the size i would say no....a motorcycle engine is already bigtime overpower for a go kart. Here's a kick *** vid (old one) of what a bike motor can do in a go kart:

I'm currently trying to find a go cart frame that will hold the d16a6, my friend has a frame called black wolf and he has a d15b on there with 5spd but it's rear wheel, that **** will fly, i mean on the road it will burn the tires in third
