somebody jacked my air filter...
Last night i saw someone messing with my car by the front passanger wheel. I noticed him from the window while working. I ran towards him thinking he was trying to steal my wheels. But since i park so far away from the front of the store (home depot carts = ouch) by the time i got to my car he was gone. I checked my wheels and all the lugs were still tight. So it made me think what the hell the guy was doing.
Okay, so now this morning i went to do an oil change on my car. After it was jacked up and on the stands i decided to check the air filter to see if it needed cleaning. But i noticed that there was no damn air filter. I could see the marks from a screwdiver or some similar device on the actual intake. Scratches all around from trying to pry off the filter. And the splash guard was torn off too to make matters worse.
Needless to say i'm very upset about this. Not only do i have to buy a new filter, but i have to get a new splash guard as well. Has this every happened to anyone before? Because it's a first time for me.
Now i would like to know how much would a new filter cost me and where could i get one online at a good price. By the way it is an iceman cai that had a K&N filter. I'm gonna go try taking pictures of it now so you all can see.

http://www.martelbros.com/cgi-bin/store/ws400CS.cgi is one of the places that have the K&N filters for cheap.
I don't know what filter fits your iceman so you'll have to search.

That sux man. I couldnt imagine why someone would go to all that trouble just to get a used filter. kind of pathetic if I do say so myself. I mean I have hard enough time taking mine off with my car jacked up. The AEM CIA's have a lip at the end so its pretty much impossible to pull it off without undoing the clamp or breaking the filter. I dont know if your CIA has that.
you can find a good filter for less then $30 for sure. As for your splash guard I would recommend fining a salvage yard.
