Your best bet would be to go to your local Import store. I ordered a hood from eBay and it was ViS but after waiting 2 months I cancelled the order. I ordered the same hood from the shop the leader of my car club owns and it's suppose to be here tomorrow and it was only 20 bucks more. 500 eBay /w no pins. 520 from my hook-up with pins and installed.

If you buy a VIS hood, you will regret it. The clearcoats on them come off after about a year ( or less ), and their customer service sucks.

I've had 2 ViS hoods and have never experienced the above stated problems. Maybe I'm lucky? Very odd.

I think the reason they start chipping and cracking are because the hood is always out in the sun and prolly don't take care of them.

How can you bring back the shine on carbon fiber? I waxed my lip all the time. then once during use of cleaner i got some on the lip and now it faded in that spot. Any idea how to fix that oR AM I screwed?

I think that someone somewhere is going to have a problem with every company. I've heard both good and bad from Vis. I can't give any first hand experience but I havent heard any complaints about Seibon

How do you buy a hood with hood pins already installed? Unless i'm missing something that's not a smart idea. It's not going to be easy to line up the pin, drilling the proper position and such and that's being if the latchs were even properly installed in a applicaple position with a beam underneath.

And you! Did you really just spell it accident as "exident"? You must be a Red Sawkx fan....

I live in Cali and went down to VIS about a week ago and picked up my hood. I asked the guy if there was any particular way to care for my hood. He said just clean and polish it. Then he said no matter what I do the hood will fade in about a year or two. He said there was nothing I could do about it. This was a VIS employee. (of course he said it after I paid the $400 bucks!!) Oh well it looks good for now
