I know it's not an 02 EX, but my buddy has a base RSX and had that DC SS Adapter, looks almost identical to the onse for your EX there... He said that it didn't do much if at all to get the throw shorter and it really was a waste of money. We ended up throwing a BuddyClub shortshifter in instead and that's a LOT shorter. The red one in the bottom of your pic, the neuspeed... I could swear that's the same thing as the 02-05 SI neuspeed SS adapter so it might not fit. I could be wrong though.

My suggestion, find a real short shifter, not just an adapter. Many friends have said that they adapter didn't really do it for them and have moved on to a real shorter shifter. Maybe BuddyClub makes one for the EM2, google that?

01-05 civic and base rsx's have the same shifter. Any shifter made for a base will fit an 01-05 civic.

Just get an adapter, even e-bay. have the stock shaft (shifter) shortened an inch and your all set!

i noticed a change when i threw the revo assembly in my 02 ex...i believe the adapter requires you to cut or drill into your stock shifter assembly

When I had my 01 civic, I had a Neuspeed SS adapter, and I cut the thread off the top of the shifter lever. Try that, I was really impressed with the improvement. When I went K20A2, I did the exact same thing with all the same stuff I had on my 01 civic. So like someone said 01-05 civic, and DC5 Base, and S are the same.
