Okay! Now, I always look on ebay and see these cheap cool air intakes for like around 50-60 bucks...do they really make a difference? or help at all?

they are the same as the name brand ones like AEM or injen, except they are not carb approved. if a cop pulls you over and sees that you have a not carb approved intake, he will probably give you a ticket for illegal mods.

I just bought one for my 6th gen and it was a breeze to put in. The sound difference is amazing and it feels a little faster. Definitly worth the money. I would say go with an ebay intake and replace the filter with an AEM or Blitz or something like that.

It's not difficult to install but if you are get a CIA then removing the air box in a CB& is a bit of a pain but none the less doable... If your state has srict emissions the spend the money on an AEM but if not expletive it Ebay the both do the same **** but just as said before one C.A.R.B approved the other isn't...

I had an intake once, at first it was annoyingly loud. Then I got used to it and its hard not to have a heavy foot because you wanna hear a sound.

As for the power gains, you'll get like 1 or 2 extra hp. People that advertise 25-30 hp gain are full of it.

No intake will make a noticeable increase in power so save your cash and go ebay
