the person I bought the block from said it was a 95 but I just want to make sure.
The block says b18b1 and the # below say 2s325107

 

well you know its 94 or newer cause B18B's were 94+up.

 

Look near cyl #4. (one next to the distributor.) above the header there is a stamp it will look like 9|4 or 9|5 etc. (there will also be other stamps but look for the year.

 

dont see anything, isnt that for the head only?

 

DOH my bad. (brain fart) i dont know if you can tell the block year. its gotta be on there somwhere.

 

you can tell by the vin number on the block, they specify which year in the number. i saw a post on it a long time ago.

*edit* if you have that ckf sensor by your oil pump, then your block is 96+. if not, than its 94-95. and like someone said earlier, b18b is 94+. so i guess it kind of narrows it down for you.
