Default OEM ITR Exhaust.

Alright fella's, before I get flamed to all holy hellhole, I did search. I am aware that the ITR OEM Cat-back flows better supposedly then other OEM DC exhausts, but I was wondering, is the diameter of the piping indeed larger then the standard 2"? Is it 2.25? I need a B-pipe for my DC to go with my Spoon N1, and wanted to go with a 2.25 B-pipe, and have a guy that is selling an ITR B-pipe for cheap so I just wanted to know because I'm totally drawing a blank. TIA.

ITR bpipes are slightly larger. i think the JDM ITR b-pipes are even bigger.

The ITR cat-back is primarily 2.25" OD, though there are a number of significanly smaller bottlenecks throughout.

Here is something SMSP wrote before:

collector is 2" OD but it has a anti reversion chamber so it's even smaller
cat, 2" inlet even smaller outlet
B pipe flange 1.9" OD/ 1.75" ID
B pipe 2.25" OD, probably 57mm, but hey the Mugen TL B pipe up to the first resonator is only 55mm
2nd resonator outlet back down to 2" OD
axle back tubing 2.125" OD, probably 54mm for you metric lovers
axle back before it enters the muffler...2-1/16" OD

i just swapped out my stock civic si (1992 eg) b pipe for a jdm eg4 cat and jdm r bpipe. i reused the stock muffler.

definetly a cool little upgrade for the price.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I think I might hold out and get something with a few less bottlenecks, I mean its not like my exhaust is getting any quieter with the N1 axle-back on it, so I dunno, the reverting to the 2" after the 2nd resonator is kinda making me lean towards finding another B-pipe that flows a bit better. I dunno, I'm still on the fence...

yes that's right, there are some bottlenecks at the cat-back:

Good **** guys...Hype-R forum is for me, lol. Not a bunch of idiots/trolls like other forums here, actually INFORMED individuals for a pleasant change. Might be in here more often, as I may be in the works for a trade for a nice aRrr swap for my DC, so hopefully I be part of this forum more for pix0rs and what not, heh. Thanks again. for you guys.
