Shift 2-piece suit just arrived!!!!!!
See following link for pics:

So the suit came today in the mail...VERY impressed with the quality of this suit. All the stitching is very heavy duty, zippers are top notch, rubber grips on ends of zipper, neoprene surrond on the neck, wrists and ankles (very comfortable). Zip up pockets inside jacket. Also the entire suit (pants and jacket) has a mesh liner - very soft and makes sliding the pants/jacket on and off pretty easy.
The suit weighs 11 pounds - 6 for the pants and 5 for the jacket - I haven't had much experience with suits, but this thing is HEAVY! All of the armor seems to be GP style with the hard plastics outer and a foam inner. In my opinion VERY protective. The elbow armor extends down most of the forarm. The knee armor extends down the entire shin. The back pad is a freaking joke - that definetely needs to be replaced. All of the armor seems to also be very encompasing. Wraps around most of my shoulder, knee and elbows not leaving much exposed in the case of an impact.
I'm not sure how well this thing will breath. I've heard they breath very well, but it looks to have a lot of solid leather (non-perforated.) It does have shoulder vents, mesh panels on the thigh, chest and bicep and also some sections of perforated leather - so its possible that it will stay somewhat cool in the summer.
All in all for $322 including tax and shipping I would say this was an EXCELLENT purchase and anyone in the market for pants and/or jacket I would definetly recommend this.
edit: I forgot...motostrano also sent me a free alpine stars t-shirt in the box. Pretty sweet huh?

Did you buy it from these guys? Their price says $339.
Not that I need them, but no pucks, or velcro area for pucks? No pimp hump in the back. For that price, seems like a excellent deal though.

I did buy it from motostrano.
The listed price is $339, but when you checkout and it asks for promos you can input motojunkie or something like that and you get a discount.
Nope, no pucks/velcro. However, the "shift" logo that is on the knee where a puck would go is a very hard plastic that would hold up to some dragging. I figure if I get serious enough to drag my knee I'll have a shop sew on some velcro for some pucks - no big deal. Even if I spent $100 to have that done $422 total is a hell of a deal.

I'm glad you are happy with your purchase. Like i said this was a better option than the other ones you had posted. As for the lack of knee pucks this is more of a street suit thus the lack of them. Since the vast majority of people dont drag their knee its not much of a factor. imo.
