ABS light does not want to turn off...
My car has been acting weird latley. Whenever theres a snow storm or the roads are slippery the abs will kick in when i try to come to a stop. I know its working because the brakes are pulsating and you hear it as well. Then the light will stay on for a few days everytime I start the car. Eventually it will turn off. The same will happen again whenever the road conditions are slippery ie. ice, slush, snow etc. The same procedure keeps occuring over again. ABS kicks in, light stays on for a few days, then returns to normal. Now it has been on constantly for more than a week but I know the system still works. What could be wrong?
It has to do with your driving around with the heat turned off
No, really; It's more than likely a wheel speed sensor may be giving an erroneous signal and the systems ECM is saying somethings amiss.
To get a more definitive answer to all this will require interrogating the system while the lights on. The bugger to all this is that the light will eventually shut off
