i think it is worth it. But everything is based on personal opinion and experience. Im having a good time with my swap and everything is going as planned. But its not for everybody. Ive heard many bad things on this setup but hopefully everything goes good for me. Good luck on the swap
H22 massive power massive wieght my friend has a prelude and my ef9 smokes his car then we go to the simple rule power to wieght B18 way to go, but b16 is always going to be a force to be reckoned with
hmm a 2.2L motor in a little 4th gen that weighs around 1 ton.
Wheel hop nah.....
Search alot of members have asked this and I think his name is 2.2 has done it.
Someone even have a boosted H22 in a EF

I just bought an h22 crx 2 days ago and I love it. It does get some excessive wheel hop all the way through 2nd gear and some into 3rd.
Since I'm an H22 Prelude guy I'll be dropping one in my EF within the next month or so (almost have all the parts needed). It's actually going to be an H23 vtec with my stage 3 head for even more torque & power. If you don't think you'll have your swap done by then I'll hit you back up & let you know how it's working out for me.
most people concern about the weight. If your go weight a complete swap of a b18 and compare it to an h22 the diffrence will be around 50-70 pounds. I have a solution, relocate your battery like your going to want to d0 anyway on a h22 swap. The battery alone weighs like 25 pounds. 70-25= 45 is that to much weight for you guys?

14.09 @ 99.8 on street tires <~~H22 CRX I/H/E & Z-10 and some suspension work I believe. You all are going to say it should be faster and it should considering the driver has only been down the track maybe a dozen times...in his life. I think to pull those kinds of times with little seat time on street tires it is so worth the swap if you have the money. But a nice B swap is nothing to look down on either.
If you want the H get the H
If you want the B keep the B and build it.
If you can afford a K get a K

Well traction bars won't keep your tires from spinnning but they should limit the wheel hop. My tires spin pretty easily as well with traction bars.
