PGM-FI light coming on?
Hey, I normally don't play over here since I don't own a Prelude, but my friend's '86 2.0 SI has been giving him grief. He told me that tonight on his way home from work, his PGM-FI light came on. I told him to try douching it out with some fuel system cleaner and he says that he did the last two tanks. Any thoughts, anyone? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
And before anyone points out the one-in-a-million archived post that I didn't happen to find when I searched before posting this, telling me to search before I post DOESN'T HELP. Thanks.

yea nobody else will prolly post to this becuase its i guess a dumb question but i have some time to kill. i have an 87 si, btw. the pgm-fi light is the same as a check engine light meaning it has a stored dtc in the pcm. just because the light says pgm fi or fuel injection, doesnt mean it has to do with a fuel problem. so next time that the light comes on remove the drivers side rear ash tray. the pcm is directly under the ash tray and has a LED that will flash you the code. when you get the code, search honda-tech or google and then go from there.
