Torque Specs on ITR Motor
Whats up H-T,
I took my cams out to redo some things i didnt like..
Well i dont have the torque specs for the caps, cam gear bolt, and tension bolt along with crank.
Does anyone have a book and could they take a pic?
I orderd a book and its on hella back order.
Help me out! Im dying to hear VTEC again!

well my Haynes book tells me:
cam caps: 6mm bolts - 86INCH-lbs! 8mm bolts - 20ft-lbs
camshaft sprocket: 41 ft-lbs
tensioner for timing belt: 40 ft-leb
cankshaft pully bolt: 130 ft-lbs
i dont have any pictures of the tightening sequence on the cam caps on this computer, but im sure some other guys can help you
i cant find anyting about the cam caps should be torqued in steps, or just finger tight all the bolts first.
this is for b18c1/5 engines
