Im Selling a Used Arai RX-7 RR4, It is the "Edwards" blue, silver, black in Size Small! It fits head size 6 3/4's-6 7/8's. Its in Good Used shape, It does have Some scratches But it does come with a Clear and Mirror Shield. The liner is Washable and is in Awesome Shape! This helmet is about the best you can get, I hate to sell it but I Medical Bills and A Trashed bike that Needs to be rebuilt. I paid Over $500 for it awhile ago, Im asking 280$ plus shipping!

Size S? Eric, how do you fit your head in there? Every time you think about how ripped you are, your head swells...how on Earth do you fit into an S?

I'm busting your chops, but seriously...I can't even fit into most Arai Mediums, my Signet is a Large. What gives?

 

I have the same helmet too. Size L tho. Maybe I should pick it up to use as a bitch helmet.

Sorry, its just, i bought a 1 time worn shoei RF-1000 Diabloic TC2 from a guy for 300 even...and i notice some scratches on the back of your helmet....i mean....i know you paid 500 for it...its just...doesen't tickle my fancy...

Can anybody explain???

I Am "ASKING" $280

Did your Low End RF-1000 come with a $70+ Spare shield?
Perhaps your Helmet also came with a $20 Breath deflector (Never used)
And you Paid more then what Im asking for a lower end Shoei that was USED in the same sense as Mine, But Mine has a Couple Scratches

Here is a link for a new Rf-1000, I dont understand why you would pay $300 for a used helmet that cost $340 new?

I just tried on all the others and The Small was ultra tight Like I wanted!

Funny you should ask, because actually it did, came with both mirror tint reflector finish screen and the clear screen still in wrapping as well as the breath deflector, and it was worn ONCE, and looked just like it had came out of the box, the warranty information hadn't even been opened yet. AND, i paid 300 bucks for it, AFTER shipping, WITH said bonus's....Now my question to you is....and to everybody else, like i <U>originally stated</U>.....

What makes that helmet worth 500 bucks new...and 280 used with said scratches that are highly noticeable...and i know you've worn it more than once.

Have you worn an RF-1000 in comparision to your RX-7? Is the Arai more comfortable??? More features??? Better airflow???

I'm asking for your personal experience of why that helmet that you are selling is 'worth so much'. The design is nothing out of the ordinary...does the fact that its an "Edwards" Rx-7 have to do with it???

I want you to explain to me why its that much, instead of sitting there and counteracting me with questions that hold no relevance and that actually loose that Arai some ground.

The helmet is The Best Arai Helmet made, It only compairs to the $600+ Shoei X-11.

20 years ago, there was a big difference in helmets, so it was much easier to separate the good from the bad. Today, although more helmets look the same, there can still be a major difference between them. For example, people look basically the same on the outside. But this tells us nothing about the person on the inside. It's the same with helmets. They're all round, hard and shiny. And most carry many of the same certification standards that have now become the only way for many to judge a helmet's worth. However, even though these helmets may carry the same decals certifying that they passed the minimum criteria for a given standard, it doesn't tell you anything about what's inside. The fit, the comfort. The quality. But Arai is different. Arai designs the best helmet we can for comfort, fit, safety, and a host of other criteria. Then we submit it for safety standards acceptance (which we pass with room to spare). In other words, Arai designs its helmets first for you, the rider — and second to pass a standards test. Some helmet companies have their priorities wrong and do it the other way around.


This helmet was Over $500 new just like a Porsche can be $500,000 because when its the best, Its worth it!

The RX7RR4 <u>WAS</u> the best Arai made at the time. It's at least a generation behind in helmet technology.

That helmet is going for $425 because it is an RX7 Corsair, the RR4's replacement and a current generation design. It's not the same helmet you're selling.
