IAC and EGR Waterproof?
I was wondering if the IAC and EGR is waterproof... the reason is that i m planning to clean them ... and people say there is alot of carbon and stuff stuck.. so i was wondering if soaking them in water is okay for these components...
Thanks alot

They will tolerate light spray and the occasional spritz of water, what with the connector enviro-seals; but dunking them is a no-no.
If you insist on cleaning them up, use a Carb Cleaner soaked shop rag. Better still, use Brake Cleaner; it doesn't leave a residue.

I (personally) always plan on a new gasket whenever I R&R (Remove and Reinstall) something. Perhaps I'm 'funny' like that, but I absolutely HATE revisiting something (for whatever reason).
Some have gotten away with it.
