i just won this thing on ebay and im really exited about it. ive always wanted a fastline shifter but could never spend $150 on one (im a cheap ***) so when i saw this thing on ebay, it looks really cool so i bought it, only cost me like $32 shipped, so its cheaper than a b+m and in theory, it could be the best thing ive ever done to my DA. i searched and found ONE thread about it from '02 so i figured i would open this topic back up. OBVIOUSLY these things arent made anymore....

replica C's shifter.

i guess the whole adjustability thing is pretty cool. make sure it never comes loose on you tho. hehe

 

is it? ive never seen a pic of the real c's shifter, anyone have a pic of that? for what i paid for this thing, there is NO WAY i can go wrong

 

how do you shift with that thing... just forward and back or just normally? wtf!?

total crap. fitment was weird, he had to mod the base of the shifter.

 

32 bucks man, its not like i sold my soul for this thing. even if i have to mod the base of the shifter, i think it will be well worth my money. anyone else have any firsthand experience with one of these?

It looks like the C's which is very rare and expensive. For like $32 you might as well give it a try. I know the real C's shifter is considered one of the best shifters out there from what Ive heard from people who have it. Since its alot cheaper version you really don't know until you try it.

he took it out now, used it for about a week.

the only reason he bought the cheap one was because he tried the real thing at a local car meet, but the replica does not compare.

 

someone needs to find a pic of a real c's shifter, i wanna compare

i have a c's and i ****** love it. cant speak for the knockoff personally but have heard bad things about them as far as breaking and such

its still in my old car i have to take it out. no pics right now. hey give it a shot its 30 bucks . personally i would go for the real deal just cause......

 

oh its in the old sohc. i would have though u would have stripped everything from that car already.
