Okai so I have a 89 Crx.... And I just swapped a SOHC zc VTEC engine its basically a Z6.... And about the injectors... when I get rid of the resistor box... and use OBD1 injectors what wires get soldered together and where do they go?
and... how do I match up the wires? like I noticed some of the injectors are different and which is the ground?

Bump for some URGENT help And yes I did search but all it did was confuse me... nothing was really specific
did this on my rex, its really no big deal. look at your injector resister box, there is a small harness coming out of it with a plug, unplug it and remove it from your car. the end of the plug thats left on the engine side of the harness, chop it off, there should be 5 wires there, i think 4 yellows and a red or something like that or vice versa, anyhow just solder all 5 of these wires together into a big soldered mess and poof your done. all your basically doing is giving the obd1 injectors 12v, the obd0 ones run off less volts thats why the power runs through the resistor box first to lower the volts, by removing and soldering all the wires together before the box your letting the injectors see 12volts. by the way, your obd0 injector plugs probrably won't fit onto your obd1 injectors, your gonna need some obd1 injector plugs, you have to depin and swap the plugs, or just chop and solder.

Are you converting to OBD1? If you aren't then you don't have to get of the injector box. If you are do as godruler says and solder those wires together. If you convert to OBD1 you have to get rid of the box and use OBD1 injector plugs. If you need some let me know and I can get ahold of some. The wires are easy to match up one wire will have a stripe the other won't just match up the obd0 side with the stripe to the OBD1 side with the stripe.

he's not converting to obd1 but he's using obd1 injectors on an obd0 car so he still has to delete the box. are your talking about the fuel return line that attatches to the FPR, there should be a metal line sticking a few inches out of the upper drives side of the firewall, it goes into the cabin, thats where the hose goes. its around the master cylinder area, look around

When I converted my CRX to OBD1 I decided to change to OBD1 injectors also.
You know its not REQUIRED to do so right? You can still run an OBD1 engine and electronics in your OBD0 converted vehicle and still use the LOW IMPEDANCE injectors.
Anyway, like GODRULER said, combine all those red wires at that plug to the single Yellow wire.
The only difference is, I left the engine SIDE of that plug intact, and CUT and SOLDERED the wires on the RESISTOR BOX side.
That way, if I do decide to run some Big CC Low Impedance injectors in the future, I can just find another Resistor Box and just " plug it in".
The injector plugs will need to be changed to fit the type of injector you are using.
