Transmission and turbo?
hey, 91 accord DX sedan...
if i put a turbo on it, will i have to do anything to the transmission? someone told me my transmission would go a LOT sooner since it was not built for the added HP, if this is true, how much could i safely handle without doing damage?

It would go a lot sooner if it were an automatic but if its a manual it will do just fine. Theres people with over 300hp on stock trannies with little to no problems as long as you dont buy an auto.

the auto trans can handle a turbo without too much troble for that model year just add a cooler.
Auto transmission are better suited for smooth power delivery as you would get from a supercharger or WOT from the bottle. Jolting a trans with the sudden boost from a turbo comming out of lag is bad.......
