Default damage, body shops?

so the other night at an o.a.r. concert a guy in a pickup backed into my car.
he said he didnt see it at all out of his rearview mirror. ha
thankfully he cooperated and i wont have to pay for anything. so, just wondering, how much will this cost to fix? the piece between the tailight and the bumper is messed up, the tailight is broken, and the bumper i think is just pushed down a little. the hatch is stuck shut and i cant put my key all the way in.

also, does anyone know of some quality body shops in charlotte, nc?
thanks.

is the bumper in need of a full repaint?
if so..

around 400 bucks. [ for a normal body shop ]

Here in san diego body shops are a dime a dozen , 200 bucks tops.

clear coat base coat as well , good luck~

these are rough figures based on work i just had done..
brand new tail light 250
filler panel repair/repaint around 300
bumper repaint 250

with additional charges id say you are looking at a very minimum of $1k

theyll probably want to replace that bent panel because its fairly heavily damaged and the locking cylinder is messed up. if so its going to cost more, and that isnt including any damage done underneath.

my numbers might not be the same as work in your area, so i would do what duffman said and get a real estimate done at a shop in your area.

call coffey auto body at wilkinson blvd near the airport. Heard they were pretty good....a few sales men from acura at independence recommended me to go down there....stop by and gave me an estimated paint job for $1500 prep and all. I had no money and took my car to maaco at n. tyron to paint only and they sucked ....

From what I can tell you've got more than just a taillight and that middle piece to replace...looks to be more damage then that.

Im sorry I dont get why people take the time to make threads like this.

Why dont you take it to a body shop and ASK? Its free and much more acurate than I dunno me 3500 miles away looking at a shitty picture over the internet making a guess.

*end rant*

Sucks your car got hit I hope you have no trouble with the guy that hit you and it gets fixed back to new!
