anybody running a c pillar bar for seatbelts?
thinking of taking the seatbelts out of my doors and getting racing seats and a c pillar bar so i can use 5 point harness seatbelts
just wondering how many of you have done this, pics would be nice
and what a good brand is
i dont want one that'll snap in a crash

i have heard that you are not suppose to use a harness unless you hvae a role bar, or they wont let you ues them at the track
i might be wrong though

Stick to the roll bar man
. I doubt a C-pillar bar that's held in by 2-3 small bolts will hold up to (I'm assuming) a 150 pound man slamming forward in a collision.
Actually, it's not really the bolts I'm worried about. It's more of just using a generally weak c-pillar bar for seatbelts. They're designed more for side to side bracing, not forward/back.

I would never trust running a harness to a c pillar, get a autopower 4 point roll cage is your best option, or a custom cage, and I think sparco makes just a harness bar but not sure if it fits for ef.
